Very nice site hun going well, been awhile since I was here thought I pop in to say hello
Hiya, me again, well were loving our little man and even though I wasn't looking for an Angora and was told he was a cashmere, he is getting quite matted, he's only almost 8 weeks old and I'm wondering if this is possible that he is a cashmere and just has loads of baby wool undergrowth or he's possibly got the angora gene? Anyway, looks like I'll be needing to have him clipped and have tried to cut some out but to worried I'll hurt him even though he is good, but not easy on my own. Anyway, I was also told you need to anesthatise a rabbit in order to clip them and I'm wanting to know if thats so and if being so young if it would be a traumatic thing to go through. I see your in Clayton and I'm in Ringwood and I'm just wondering what would be the best thing to do. We love him to bits and want the best for him, yes I wanted a low maintenance bunny, but we now have Chopper and if he needs clipping, then he needs clipping, I just don't want to do anything to traumatise him. Any help is good help, thanx
I shall call your number soon but thought if your in here or someone knowing reads this they may help easy my mind and figure out what to do. Thanx
Hi All, new member so wanted to say gidday and show off our little baby, we've had him since Wednesday so not long yet, but he has settled in well and loves a snuggle
Will add some pics for now and add more as he grows, he's very cute and loves his food so will grow quickly I'm sure. He's a lop cashmere and I was told he wouldn't have fur issues but he had some mats when I bought him and they are growing, trying to brush him and he loves it but don't want to hurt him trying to get the mats out so been playing with them and pulling them apart but don't think I will be able to get them all out that way so if anyone has some good tips for me I would muchly appreciate them. Thanx ![]()
